Aromatherapy massage combines a flowing, full-body treatment with essential oils selected for how you feel on the day. Julia blends from a range of pure oils to match your goal, whether that is calming an overwound nervous system, lifting a heavy mood, or settling the mind before sleep. The oils are absorbed through the skin and inhaled, and the massage itself is gentle and rhythmic, similar in pressure to Swedish work but shaped by the blend. It suits people who want the relaxation of a full-body massage with an additional layer of sensory calm, and those drawn to the specific qualities of the oils. If you are managing a diagnosed condition, are pregnant, or have sensitive skin or allergies, mention it when booking so the blend is chosen safely. If you are managing a diagnosed condition or an injury, speak to your GP or physiotherapist as well as booking with us.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How are the oils chosen?
Julia selects and blends oils during a short consultation at the start, based on your mood, stress, sleep and what you want from the session. The blend is mixed for you on the day rather than chosen in advance, so it matches how you actually feel.
Is it safe in pregnancy?
Aromatherapy massage is not offered during pregnancy without prior clearance from your GP or midwife, as certain essential oils and massage approaches are not suitable. [CONFIRM whether pregnancy massage is offered at all before booking a pregnant client.] Please mention pregnancy when you contact us so we can advise correctly.
Can the blend be taken home?
Julia can advise on the oils used in your session and where to source them, but we do not currently sell take-home blends. [CONFIRM if retail blends are offered.] She is happy to suggest a simple oil or two suited to your goal for home use.
What does it help with?
It helps with stress, low mood, poor sleep and general tension, using the qualities of the oils alongside a relaxing massage. It is a calming, relaxation-led treatment. For a specific muscular complaint or sports recovery, a different treatment will serve you better, and Julia can advise on the right choice.
